We have reserved Sunday, December 7, 2008 for the Awards Dinner
at 5:00 PM We present 40+ Divisions which
costs about $15,000
This has never been a problem because in exchange for
your Membership Donation usAHSA offered to each of you, $5.00 off on each
class entered under the auspices of a As you know
we can take Credit Cards
non-profit corporation. Northeast Regional Horse
Shows was always pleased to reward all of you . Now that USEF has said we
can't do that and we have no record of Sponsorships that we can count on;
there is no way I can finance the program in order to make a commitment for
the Awards.
We NEED at least 300 usAHSA Members @ $50.00 to cover
initial costs
OR we NEED 40 Division Sponsors in order to keep our
commitment.
I understand that in this economy it is very difficult
for us all. and In addition Snowbird is battling with New Jersey over the
"Highlands Act" which is unconstituional with the help of the Pacific Legal
Foundation..
I am truly disappointed by this current situation and
wish it were not so!
